Preschool!

How did this day come so fast? How is my little boy almost 3? C had his first day of school today: the preschool he will attend in the fall has an August summer session. He will go twice a week for 3.5 hours/day. So far, so good. No tears at drop off and he had a great day learning about dinosaurs. According to his teacher, he started to miss Mommy about 15 minutes before pickup but recovered nicely. C is excited about school and wore his back pack for the rest of the day, even when he ate dinner and brushed his teeth. :) He would have slept with it on if we'd let him.

As you can see, the kids love the scooter. :) 

First Bike Ride

My dad found a bike trailer at a garage sale and we tried it out today. It was a success! The kids enjoyed the ride on the Burke-Gilman Trail. We had a picnic lunch at Log Boom Park and played at the playground. We love living so close to the BGT!

Field Trip

We went to the Imagine Children's Museum in Everett this week with a couple of our friends. The kids had a great time and kept me on my toes. It was Ellie's first visit as an official toddler and boy, was she busy. She wanted to do everything her big bro did. 

Summer in May

We've been soaking up the sun these last couple weeks. It feels like summertime here in the NW. 

PEPS group: 2+ years later

We met up with our PEPS group last week. It's hard find a day when the whole group can meet so it was a pleasant surprise to get 4 of the 5 kids together at the park. It was fun to watch them play, now that they are big kids. :) And Ellie was happy to join right in and play too.
